Good book.

I used it to supplement a class I was taking and found it to be very useful.

This isn't and introductory or an all encompassing book.

Amazing content, horrible copy of the book

The textbook itself is very informative and is a good source of reference for studies, however I was deeply appalled by the quality of the book, had I not enjoyed the content I would have returned it.

Horrible printing.

I decided to get this book in order to work on mit's 8.

Practically Useless

When I bought this book I was hoping to gain a useful resource to use in learning about waves, but instead I got a couple hundred pages of proofs where the variables he was using were ambiguous.

text is excellent but the printing is horrible

Would give it five stars for the actual content inside it, this book is a excellent, a classic on basic physics of waves and oscillations.

Great book, but sloppy (illegal?) printing

The book is great but the writing is skewed on pages.

nice texbook

The graphes are very bad quality as if they were some low quality photocopies of the original.

Poor print quality

I ordered this book after looking through a coworker's copy.
