One of the worst engineering textbooks I've ever used.

Finally a book that helps me understand the basics of probability

I have a computer science degree in college, and studied math and calculus throughout highschool and college, but I never really understood probability fully beyond random variables.

Great Introduction to Probability

I thought this a remarkably clear and well written introduction to probability.

Missing a few steps

Unfortunately this book severely lacks step by step examples and makes many assumptions about what the reader does and does not know.

Very hard to understand

We used this book in our Introduction to Probability course at Georgia Tech.

This book reads easily because it gives many concrete examples and uses a tutorial approach to teaching.

Starts understandable but becomes hard to read

I really don't feel qualified to rate this book because it quickly went over my head.
