I recommend it as a concise but fairly complete coverage of Marie Curie's life. I have other books about her, one of which is much more detailed,and they all have some good points. The more detailed one is by Susan Quinn. I do like the Pasachoff book because it covers most of the ground that is in the Quinn one but has the advantage of being concise. I am particularly trying to get a picture of Marie as a person, to modify the image of her as a single-minded scientist. This Pasachoff book does
