5 August 2013Just received it but a quick scan tells me this is a definitive work on the Fourth Armored Div during that time frame.
Couldn't find another available source of info on this subject.

An excellent and well developed book on the history of the 4th Armored Divison from it humble beings to it mad dash across europe.

For the most part, I liked the book, it did a great job of detailing the division's activities from Normandy to the Ardennes.

Patton's Third Army was made up of many great units, but few are as well known or as famous as the 4th Armored Division.

I bought this book solely for the purpose of researching the battle at Singling and was very pleasantly surprised at the overall wealth of detail throughout the book.
